All hail the queen!!
Eve was voted homecoming queen in our little town. She put it like this,"It's a really stupid popularity contest. But it feels really good."
Summatime
August 2016. Idaho trip for Tim's wedding gave us a trip through Yellowstone. Three of the girls and I camped instead of heading home with the rest of the family. We had to drive to the southernmost campground and got the last tent spot available and paid for 2 nights but left after 1. Ella was miserable so we left a day early This was my first summer vacation as a teacher and it FLEW by. If it weren't for the pictures I'd argue it never happened.

She's growing up
Nadia turned 13 on May 22. She had a piano recital and we ate out with Gramma, Gramps, Deid, Acacia and all our family. She requested cheesecake, her favorite.

This kid. She's an amazing kid. She has a drive to succeed like I've never seen.
She puts her whole heart into everything she does, and she wants to do everything! This year in 7th grade she played volleyball, basketball and threw discus in track. She qualified for Nationals at state archery again this year, taking 5th in bullseye and 2nd in 3D. She went to state for her tenor saxophone solo and starred. She got an excellent in her piano competition and finished the school year with straight A's. She is a force to be reckoned with. I hope she can relax some this summer!
