Spontaneous camping trip

63 degrees on July 8.

Beautiful July 7 sunset

Supposed to be a 6 man tent but one woman and 4 kids is too much. 6 infants maybe?
Bacon over a camp fire for breakfast. It's a must.

Selfies

At least they're entertaining for a wait at the doctors office.

A day for the books

It wasn't special per se, but it's stillness made it so.  It was sunny and almost warm. It was peaceful and calm

Acacia Lynn is 1!!!

My only niece (or nephew) turned 1. She is such a delight, she lives to make people laugh. I wish she lived closer but I'm so thankful for the time I get to spend with her. Even when she's slapping me and laughing about it.

Tooth fairy problems

Ella lost a tooth, and Nova slept in her bed with her that night to try to catch a glimpse of the tooth fairy. When she didn't show the girls were confused but she left this note the next night explaining everything.

Winter Wandering

It's January and warm enough to take a walk in the tree row!!! We've had weeks of below zero weather. Way below zero. This week has been a heatwave of 20 degree days. We've taken advantage and taken our new Great Pyrenees mix Pepper Louise on many walks. She stays close which is good since trying to call her back is futile. Until this heatwave passes we'll be walking the fields every day!
