Hi everyone! I haven't posted in forever!! Busy with summer stuff and kids, plus I left my camera at my parent's house for a month. So I moved my blog to a much easier site. Bookmark it and enjoy! I have two entries so far, you can view them by clicking on the name at the top of the page. One entry is Tae Kwon Do Belt Ceremony and the other is McNary Wedding. You can also click the pictures to make them bigger. The address is:

June has been a busy month for us. The majority of our time has been spent on the kitchen floor. When we bought the house it had old, old, old stained country blue and white checkered linoleum in it. Pain in the rear to clean and had lots of stains. So with our tax return this year we bought new Congoleum and stored it in the garage until warmer weather came our way. Trav and I replaced it this past two weeks. What a nightmare!!! It was worth it though, the new floor is awesome!
Tearing out the two layers of old linoleum was fun, but when we got to the landing below the stairs the party really started. We had some kind of black tar adhesive to deal with, so after a late night phone call to our personal construction consultant (my dad) we knew how to deal with it. So this......

became this!!

This became..
this!!

In this one you can see the plank subfloor peeking through the glue and old layers of crap. Pure crap.
This is the seam. We were able to lay the floor in two pieces. One gigantic and one manageable. We did have to cut it at an elementary school in town, the only place we knew of that was big and level. We were there in the parking lot until 1 am, I thought for sure the cops were coming. Deid was watching the girls, well, probably the tv, while the girls slept and I'm sure she would bail us out of jail if need be. She better.
This is the seam between the two pieces. It is just as inconspicuous in real life.

Our new kitchen for two weeks. You thought the living room was messy before.
Playin' computer. Eatin' chips.
I see that camera mom.
Such a good helper. And just look at those abs.

Before the leveler. I was just informed I took no pictures of the leveler stage. It was the suckiest and I wanted no memories of it.
My new shelves for my herbs.

Nadia's birthday party for her friends. Dinosaurs again.
Cake slid over a bit but all in all was pretty darn tasty.
Gramma and Grampa came for a graduation so we got to spend the day and night with them at the hotel. Did some swimming, some good eating and opened lots of presents. Ella loves shoes, she is a girl after all. She got three pairs and these are my favorite. Little silver flats with floral embroidery, so pretty I wish they had my size.

I am a forgetful packer, so I forgot Eve's jammies. She had to sleep in my Elvis t-shirt. Long live the king!!

More toys...
More toys...
These little gems light up and spin with the push of a button. The girls love them. Ella seems to think they all belong to her though.

Relaxing in the hotel room.

Ella has become a cowgirl too. She went from not daring to touch the horses two weeks ago to walking up and tickling them on the nose this past weekend. Atta girl!!! Nadia is less than thrilled. IT'S MY PONY ELLA!!!

I thought she looked so grown up here.
Good thing Gramps is prepared!

One of the many gift from Auntie Betty, a cow piano. She loves it!
I wasn't so good at getting all the pictures I should have. This would be a great spot for a picture of the pooping dog and Barbie she got from Auntie Betty. The girls both love it. It's a dog that eats brown dog food and when you push his tail down the same food comes out his other end. He comes complete with a pooper scooper and trash can.
Nadia and Breanna decorating the dinosaur and volcano cake.

The birthday party outfit. Hot pink and orange sundress, silver sparkly cardigan and red sequined shoes. Deid helped. Obviously.
Gramps it's for the kids, it may cut off circulation to your face.
I didn't get a close enough shot to show the tiny dinosaur glitter on the table. Too cute.
So serious.
We have a lilac bush across the driveway from our bedroom. If I open the window and shut the door, when I come to bed the whole rooms smells like lilacs.
Ella, screaming, no way.
Ella is 18 months old and doesn't really care about talking. She uses gestures such as this. This is how she asks for food or water.
Ally Rae came to town between spring and summer semesters and brought presents for the girls. We love you Ally Rae!!
