On Sunday the girls and I went to the park to play and go exploring. It was over 70 degrees so we had a great time.

Watch out for those Wild Gooseberries!!

"Look Mom I found a centipede, take a picture!!" Thank goodness I was actually quite far away, love that zoom lens.

Eve scooping dead leaves into a pile to throw in the air.

Hmmm, looks interesting.

Let me give it a try...

Not so tasty. She was actually spitting in this picture.Photographs by Nadia...

The geese are pretty tame at the park, I did get chased once in Denver so I make the kids stay back.

Eve said, "Mom take a picture and I'll act like I'm reaching in the hole."
"Mom take a picture and we'll hold hands." Then Nadia yells, "No Evie I don't want to hold your hand." She finally agreed when Evie let her borrow her sweatshirt. Older sisters have the coolest clothes. You know it's true Deid.

Oh what's this???
Uh oh, my hand is muddy. I hate dirty hands, YUCK!!
Maybe I can just pick it off.

Ok, I'll try rubbing my hands on the ground, that'll work.

Nope, still muddy.

I've seen Yaya (Nadia) do this so it's got to work.

Ok, time to call in the professionals...MOM!!

Ella is learning the parts of her face. So far she's got down the eyes, nose, mouth, ears and hair. She knows where she is supposed to point, but her hand doesn't always cooperate. If I say, "Ella, where is your eye?" She will close her eye, and then point to her cheek below it. It's ok, I know what she means. This is what you get when you ask, "Ella, where is your nose?" Either this or a finger in a nostril.

Good Friday=no school=let's build a fort. This is the collapse that happened just when we got it finished.
Ella helping stabilize the tea pot fort holder.

Eve in the playroom with her treasures. They used to be her dad's treasures and she is more than thrilled to have inherited the bounty.

Ella loves a vanilla bean creme from Starbucks.
They're a little messy. I'm hoping to get Starbucks to invent a non-spill sippy cup that the ice chunks can still flow through.
Nadia likes to walk the dogs. We have to do it inside, they have no manners. Apparently in their world it's ok to drag people down the street.
I was so excited to find rain shoes at the thrift store shoe sale. These cost me around 75 cents!!
This is the biggest smile I can get out of him. Even with my best one liners he didn't crack one for the camera.
Making cupcakes for a friend's birthday on twenty March first.
